The Role
We're looking for a Founding Engineer - Advocacy to grow our developer community by doing what you do best: building amazing applications. This isn't a traditional developer advocate role—you're an engineer first, who happens to love teaching and sharing knowledge through code.
What You'll Do
You'll spend your days building showcase applications that demonstrate Viduli's capabilities while helping developers understand how to leverage our platform:
- Showcase Applications: Build real-world, production-ready applications across different frameworks and languages (Next.js, Django, Spring, Go, Rust, etc.)
- Reference Architectures: Create comprehensive example projects that developers can learn from and fork
- Sample Projects: Develop starter templates and boilerplates for common use cases
- Technical Content: Write tutorials, guides, and blog posts based on your hands-on experience building on the platform
- Video Content: Create live coding sessions, walkthroughs, and technical deep-dives
- Developer Experienc e: Provide critical feedback to the engineering team from the perspective of someone actively using the platform
- Community Building: Engage with developers, answer questions, and build the kind of community you'd want to be part of
- Network Growth: Leverage your existing network to onboard talented engineers to the platform and grow our developer community
Technical Stack
You'll be working with diverse technologies to create compelling examples:
- Frontend: Next.js, React, Vue, Svelte, Angular—whatever best demonstrates the platform
- Backend: Python (Django, FastAPI), Go, Node.js, Java, Rust, and more
- Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis
- Platform: Viduli's Ignite, Orbit, and Flash services
- Content: Markdown, video editing tools, streaming platforms
What We're Looking For
Technical Requirements
- Strong software development background—you can build full-stack applications independently
- Multi-framework experience—comfort working across different languages and frameworks
- Good communication skills—you can explain complex concepts clearly in writing and video
- Teaching mindset—you enjoy helping others learn and get excited when someone has an "aha!" moment
- Cloud/DevOps understanding—or the willingness to dive deep and learn
- Content creation experience—bonus if you've written technical blog posts, created videos, or spoken at meetups

Compensation Structure
Important: This role starts as equity-only for the first 3 months, transitioning to competitive salary + equity after that period.
- Months 1-3: Equity-only compensation
- Month 4+: Market-rate salary + meaningful equity
- Equity details: 4-year vesting
